Cancellation and Refund Policy

 At Tlaloc Journeys, we understand that travel plans can change, and we are committed to offering cancellation and refund policies that are fair and transparent, complying with Mexican regulations and international best practices. Below are the terms and conditions applicable to cancellations and refunds.

Cancellations

Cancellations by the Client

1.Free Cancellations:

    • Cancellations made up to 14 days before the start date of the trip are free of charge. No cancellation fees will apply during this period, allowing clients to plan with flexibility.

2.Cancellations with Charges

    • Cancellations made less than 14 days in advance may be subject to charges. These charges vary depending on the type of service and the provider's policies. It is recommended to review the specific terms of each package at the time of booking. During peak seasons, such as Christmas and New Year, a stricter cancellation policy may apply.

3.Cancellation Process

    • To cancel a reservation, the client must contact our customer service team through the provided channels (phone, email). Our team will guide the client through the process and notify them of any applicable charges. A cancellation receipt will be provided for the client's records.

Cancellations by Tlaloc Journeys

1.Cancellations Due to Force Majeure

    • In cases of force majeure, such as natural disasters, health emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances, Tlaloc Journeys reserves the right to cancel the trip. In such cases, alternative options will be offered, such as rescheduling the trip or a full refund, always seeking to minimize the impact on the client.

2.Other Cancellations:

    • If Tlaloc Journeys cancels a trip for reasons other than those mentioned above, the client will be offered the option to reschedule the trip or receive a full refund. Additionally, a bonus or additional compensation may be considered for the inconvenience caused.

 

Refunds

1.Refunds for Client Cancellations:

Refunds are subject to the specific package's cancellation policy. If the client qualifies for a refund, it will be processed within 10 business days after the cancellation. The refund will be made through the same payment method used for the reservation unless otherwise agreed.

2.Refunds for Tlaloc Journeys Cancellations:

    • In the event of a cancellation by Tlaloc Journeys, the client will receive a full refund unless they choose to reschedule the trip. In situations where rescheduling is not possible, a travel credit for future bookings will be offered.

3.Travel Credits

    • In some cases, Tlaloc Journeys may offer travel credits for future bookings instead of a cash refund. These credits will be subject to the conditions specified at the time of issuance and will be valid for one year from the date of issuance.

 

Legal Compliance

This policy is aligned with the Federal Consumer Protection Law and the Official Mexican Standard NOM-010-TUR-2001, ensuring that our cancellation and refund procedures comply with legal requirements and protect our clients' rights. de nuestros clientes.
